About Us
I'm a general Paediatrician with a special interest in Neurodevelopment.

My focus is to empower parents by providing a thorough assessment of their child's health and development, followed by information and advice, resulting in a clear treatment plan.
​
I enjoy supporting parents of young babies and children through the various stages of childhood, involving the children in their own health decisions as they grow up.
​
My special areas of interest include: breastfeeding and infant nutrition, proactive health care, language development, neurodivergence, learning challenges and a broader approach to ADHD.

I qualified as a doctor and specialized in Paediatrics at the University of Stellenbosch. I'm also a mother of two, which gives me a great appreciation for the parents of my patients! I enjoy people and languages and speak English, Afrikaans and German fluently. My other interests include music, art and design.

Services
Newborn attendance
Our service includes a comprehensive clinical examination of the baby after birth, as well as daily check ups in labour ward, until babies are discharged with their moms.
Routine check ups
Babies are followed up at specific ages, where questions and concerns raised by parents are addressed. A comprehensive examination is done, with a special focus on neuro-developmental milestones and growth, as well as age-appropriate nutrition and immunizations.

These follow ups are advisable at the following ages:
6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years en yearly thereafter. These visits are invaluable in preventing illness by identifying and addressing potential problems early.
Consultations
A baby or child falling ill causes considerable distress to parents. At our practice we aim to give an appointment to see an ill child as soon as possible, without compromising on time spent on the consultation.
We are both qualified Paediatricians who are trained to assess and treat any child from birth up to the age of 14 years.
Our special interests include allergies, respiratory illnesses, learning problems and ADHD.
